The market for stairlifts is large and confusing. On the one hand, there are manufacturers who also sell your lifts directly and on the other hand, small, regional dealers who resell stairlifts from different manufacturers, but do not manufacture them themselves. Many companies not only sell stairlifts, they also buy them when the lift is no longer needed .
Stairlifts are motorized seats attached to a rail and are used to move people up and down stairs. Stairlifts are installed directly on your stairs with an electric (battery powered) motor. The movement of the seat is controlled with a joystick, remote control or power switch.

2. Regional suppliers
When a stairlift is to be bought or sold, the research for a suitable supplier begins. In addition to the major manufacturers, there are numerous smaller, regional stairlift suppliers. These not only sell stairlifts, but also frequently purchase them, as the used stairlift trade is booming.
AJ Treppenlifte – Interested parties from Baden Württemberg can find various stairlift models from different manufacturers at AJ Treppenlifte. In the program are seat elevators, platform elevators, lifting platforms, vertical elevators and ceiling lifts.
Comfort Treppenlifte – Saxony and Thuringia, these are the federal states in which “Comfort Treppenlifte” is mainly represented. In addition to new stairlifts, used models are also offered. I have a stair lift in the house. it was installed for my mom and grandparents. now my grandparents have passed away and my mom can go around the house in a wheelchair ( the path was redone in the summer). We are currently renovating the first floor apartment. my mom lives on the 1st floor.
She would like to have her office in the attic and there is now the question of whether to move the stair lift to the upper stairs? It is actually the same, I have not measured it yet. Can you basically convert it or do you have to buy a new run??? What would be of course very doof. of course I would like to have this done by a professional company. I always forget only as on it to look from whom it is and my mom reaches even somehow no one where it is from.
My mom has both legs amputated and is dependent on something like this. she has founded an association for amputees and has a lot of association stuff where should come under roof … Would be great who they can tell me whether it goes or not and if it goes with how much you have to reckon with a conversion there …

I have for sale a stairlift from the company Thyssen Krupp. It is the model Flow II Signor. The arrangement is outside left. The total lifting height is 3.374 meters. The stairlift consists of a steep start rail section, then a straight stair rail segment about 2 meters long, then comes a stair right turn and then another straight stair rail segment about 0.90 meters long until the lift ends in a straight line about 90 cm long. At the beginning of the ride, the seat automatically turns towards the stairs for safety, and at the end of the ride rail, the seat automatically turns back the other way for better exit. The rail (80 mm) is painted gray-white (Ral 9002) and has 3 parking positions with loading points. The stairlift had a new price of 12061,95 euros. It was installed at the end of March 2012 and had a useful life of about 3 years, as the rest of the time my mother was residing in a retirement home. The folding automatic swivel seat with curved and folding armrests is covered with dark red leatherette (Maroon color). The cover does not show any damages. Two additional remote controls are included as accessories. The stairlift works perfectly. The batteries were never deeply discharged, but permanently charged at the charging points.
