Hawle stairlifts – prices, costs and experience

The company Hawle Treppenlifte is one of the leading German stairlift manufacturers. The company has its headquarters in Ruppichteroth. The range of Hawle stairlifts includes the HW 10 stairlift for curved stairs, the HW 20 stairlift for straight stairs, the HW 30 platform lift and special outdoor lifts. We give an overview.

Customers who choose Hawle stairlifts when buying a stairlift get a solid product from experienced hands. The German company, based in Ruppichteroth, has been manufacturing stairlifts at a high technical level for years. Thanks to modern production and manufacturing facilities, a high level of ride comfort can be achieved. These are good conditions for high customer satisfaction and long life of the stairlift.

Who is the company Hawle Treppenlifte?

The company Hawle Stairlifts is part of the Hawle Group International. The headquarters of Hawle Treppenlifte is Ruppichteroth in Germany. The Hawle Group has been in existence since the late 1960s. In total, the group employs over 500 people. In addition to stairlifts, one of the company’s main focuses is the manufacture of high-quality valves for municipal gas and water supply. The development of stairlifts came about because the company’s founder Engelbert Hawle himself needed a stair aid.

Hawle, a perfectionist, was not satisfied with the solutions on offer, so he simply developed the first Hawle stairlift himself. In the meantime, Hawle stairlifts are sold in Germany, Europe and other parts of the world. Thanks to computer-aided design, modern welding technology and high-quality workmanship, a particularly comfortable ride can be achieved. Part of Hawle’s approach to stairlifts is that in-house employees also provide consultation, assembly and service at the customer’s site.

The Hawle stairlift HW 10

The Hawle stairlift HW 10 was developed for curved stairs. Its field of application is indoors. The Hawle stairlift HW 10 can be flexibly adapted to almost any staircase shape, whether L-, U- or round shape. An advantage of the HW 10 is the very small space requirement. The stairlift can therefore be used even on very narrow stairs. When the stairlift is not in use, it can also be parked to save space.

The Hawle stairlift HW 10 can be integrated into both old and new buildings. Even very steep stairs with a gradient of up to 75° are no problem for the Hawle stair lift. In many cases, the HW 10 can be integrated very inconspicuously, because the stairlift can be supplied in all RAL colors. This means that it can be easily adapted to the individual living environment. The seat cushions are also available in many different colors and materials.

The Hawle stairlift HW 20

The HW 20 stair lift is the ideal solution for straight stairs. A built-in swivel seat ensures safety when climbing. Nevertheless, the stairlift takes up very little space. When not in use, the HW 20 can also be folded to free up even more space. For very narrow staircases, Hawle offers a separately available stand-up version of the HW 20 stairlift. This stand-up version makes the stairlift even more compact.

The standing assembly is of course also suitable for people for whom a classic seat lift is out of the question because of personal requirements. A special feature of the Hawle stairlift HW 20 is the foldable lift rail. This allows the stairlift to be mounted in front of doors or passageways. If necessary, the separately available folding rail can then simply be folded away. The passageway then becomes passable again as normal. The Hawle stair lift HW 20 is designed for indoor use.

Outdoor lift and platform lift

In addition to the HW 10 and HW 20 models, Hawle also offers stairlifts for outdoor use. These individual solutions are available for straight, curved and even very steep stairs. Also suitable for outdoor use is the Hawle HW 30 platform lift. The HW 30 meets the needs of wheelchair users in particular. A special feature is the low-floor technology of the stairlift.

This means that the Hawle HW 30 platform lift can be used comfortably without the need for a ramp. Barriers as roll-off protection provide additional safety. In addition, sensors prevent movement of the lift if there are obstacles in the lift area or on the stairs. Special materials are designed specifically for outdoor use. For example, the platform is still non-slip even in the rain.

Safety and service

Hawle vouches as a manufacturer for the quality of the stairlifts produced. Through very high-quality materials and a sophisticated design, an extremely high level of quality can be achieved. This is of course also expressed in the reliability and durability. Hawle’s service does not end with the purchase of the stairlift. Employees of the company also take care of the competent service after the purchase.

Before the purchase, the expert advisers submit an individual offer based on personal requirements and structural conditions. As each stairlift is unique, price information is only ever possible with an individual quotation. Safety is a top priority for Hawle stairlifts. Special safety sensors thus interrupt the travel of a stairlift from Hawle as soon as an obstacle is detected in the area of the list or on the stairs.

    Good day,

we have a HW 10 from them, and are also very satisfied with the device. Now we are thinking of installing the HW inside our house on another staircase. Could we continue to use parts, or at least the seat when going from the left side of the stairs to the right side of the stairs? (Are left and right seats different?) That the rail has to be redone, because the other staircase has a completely different slope is clear to me.

With kind regards and many thanks
